Razor 1911
Back in the old dayz where Comandore 64 ruled my time schedule, Razor1911 was all around.
The group Razor 1911 is one of the oldest, and probably the longest-living pirating, demo, and couriering groups in the history of all software piracy. They have been active for more over than 10 years of digital history.
They have produced demos and pirated games for the Commodore 64, Amiga, and Intel PC, and have been able to stay current with advances in technology.
Including changing platforms, the CD-ROM revolution, and the Internet.
If you ask me, Razor 1911 is like atom’s of the computer world.
If you try to divide them, you will have a digital nuclear fusion of new releases.
For the government and software producers, they are as mysterious as the quantum mechanics.
If they vanish the computer community will have a black hole in the scene.
For you guys who dont understand a shit of what im talking about..
Look at the beauty of some of the stuff they released long time ago.
Imagine you never seen a piksel on a computer screen.
Imagine you never have heard SID sound before..
Then this was Magic..
Razor 1911 had many popular BBS..
I still remember sitting at my school.
Trying to link up with em, throug a darn FM radio, phone-Modem and an fucked up 486 dx66 Pc.
Names like: Skylight, Shadow system, Illusion and Druid’s Keep will make goosebumps on a geek 2 day.
